One more dish to your home cooking! Salmon Tartare
Are you enjoying drinking at home? It’s been a year since we were told to “stay home” and I’m sure everyone is enjoying their meals at home through trial and error. I’m one of them, and although I’ve always enjoyed cooking, my repertoire has increased dramatically in the past year.
I’m sure many of you have had the experience of having an “izakaya” at home, where the main dish is decided right away, but the side dishes and other dishes are hard to decide on, and even if you put in too much effort, you get tired before eating.
Today, I’d like to introduce you to a recipe that can be prepared in 5 minutes and will make your dining table more colorful. It is very tasty on its own or on bread, and its crisp taste makes it an ideal resting place.
The best accompaniment is wine, but since it does not have a strong flavor, it goes with basically anything. If you’re looking for one more dish, please give this a try!

Salmon Tartare
Recipe by AKO's CookBook5
minutesIngredients
100g smoked salmon
1/4 of an onion
1 medium size tomato
1 teaspoon olive oil

Directions
- Dice the smoked salmon, onion and tomato. If you don’t like the pungency of the onions, soak them in water for 5 minutes. (If you use fresh onions or early red onions, they add a nice sweetness.
- Combine all ingredients in a bowl and mix with olive oil and dill. Add salt and black pepper to taste.
- You can also add olives, cream cheese, or zucchini instead. Please try this as a snack for drinking at home.
