Acai Juice 200ml
2 bananas
Milk 50ml
Granola of your choice
Fruit of your choice
Directions
- The night before, cut a banana into small pieces, wrap it in plastic wrap and freeze it. It is easier if the bananas do not stick to each other. Pour the acai juice into an ice tray and freeze it as well. Chill the serving dish in the refrigerator to prevent it from melting when you serve it.
- Put the frozen banana and acai juice ice in a blender or food processor, add the milk and blend well. I usually use 50 ml of milk, but it depends on the size of the banana and other factors, so keep an eye on it and keep it iced.
- When well mixed and ice cream-like, place on a plate. Cut the banana or fruit into thin slices and top with the granola.
- I had an acai bowl in Hawaii that was so delicious that I started making it at home. If you use well-ripened bananas, you don’t need to add sugar to make it taste sweet. For the fruit, try kiwi, blackberries, mango… you name it! You can also add a sprinkle of cinnamon. If it’s not sweet enough, try honey.
